Virtual Assistants: Delegating a Repeatable Process

As with any Freelancer, Virtual Assistants are remote, usually self employed individuals who can accomplish tasks with minimal supervision. They are a powerful tool for businesses and work best when presented with a thought out repeatable process. Communication is key, however similar to any remote team, the details can get lost in translation.

That’s why we’ve built “Assigned“ around delegating a repeatable process. As an assignment management system, the platform will allow you detail out an assignment using as many fields as you want and send it off to a virtual assistant without any prior onboarding.

Just create the assignment. Type the virtual assistants email. And send it.

Adapting Assignments to Virtual Assistants

Items in our platform start generic. At its core is an assignment. Assignments can be organized into projects and everything can be further organized into folders. While there are many ways to go about this, we have adapted the platform above to delegating a repeatable process to virtual assistants by defining these objects as the following:

Project = Project, Client, Department or Campaign

Assignments = Repeatable Process

In order to ensure the right people are notified with the correct information, both items indicated above can be assigned to anyone. In this case, ASSIGNED allows for one or more virtual assistants to be assigned a specific repeatable process without having to invite them to the whole organization.

Assignments for Everyone!

Using anyone’s email, you can assign work to any virtual assistant, whether they are an employee or not. One of the main benefits to using Assigned, is that you don’t have to onboard the assignee prior to making the assignment. Simply create the assignment FIRST as it should be, then assign the person. We can assure you it’s the fastest way to make an assignment between any platform.

Unlimited, Unique Fields

In our experience, every project has its own set of info that makes it unique. Obviously, all of them have a name and description, however projects should be more detailed then that. A project may have a number of custom fields as well that simply are not supported by other platforms. ASSIGNED allows for unlimited, unique fields for each project you create. This makes for a more organized assignment and focuses work on only what’s required for the platform.
