Content Management & Copywriting

In our experience, one of the most frustrating parts of content management was assigning work out to freelance copywriters. We love freelancers of all kinds, but we found time and time again that companies struggled with their assignment process when dealing with writers. Regular project management platforms help, but it isn’t perfect and the complicated onboarding usually resulted in email and a spreadsheet. ‘ASSIGNED’ has set out to solve that problem with an assignment management platform that allows one to assign anything to anyone without complicated onboarding. Adapting to Content Management

Everything in our platform begins as a generic object. At the core of ASSIGNED is an assignment. Assignments can be organized into projects and everything can be further organized into folders. For a content management strategy, we’re defining these objects as the following:

Folder = Type of Work

Project = Freelancer

Project Folder = Content Type

Assignments = Tasks / Requests

In order to ensure the right people are notified with the correct information, all 4 items indicated above can be assigned to anyone. In this case, it allows for freelancer to be assigned tasks that get organized under the freelancer’s name while still allowing for the company to see task across freelancers.

Unlimited Folders Means Unlimited Freelancers.

Our searchable sidebar allows for scalable Content Strategies with unlimited Subjects and freelancers to be assigned the work.

Assign Anything to Anyone

ASSIGNED offers unlimited assignments & unlimited corresponding assignee’s within a project or organization. Whether you need to organize requests to a single photographer or an entire content team, you can create assignments for anyone using just their email.

All Details are Emailed

With your approval, all the details of an assignment are sent to the assignee when the assignment is created. This means a freelancer can get the details of an assignment without needing to signup if they do not want to.
